August 2nd - The annual Icelandic Heritage Celebration (North Dakota)
Thingvalla - A historic Icelandic Church that burned in 2003. A memorial has been erected in honor of our Icelandic ancestors that settled the area. (I designed the storyboards that tell the story about the history of the area, of Iceland, and of our ancestors.
Western Icelanders -This is a website that has a lot of information on the "Western Icelanders". This is the area of North Dakota that has the largest concentration of Icelandic descent people.
