A spiral binding atlas. All text in English, German, French and Icelandic. The atlas consists of two main parts. The first part of the book shows Iceland on 60 pages, followed by plans of principal towns and villages. The latter part of the atlas consists of detailed index to the maps. The maps have a generous overlap, which makes the atlas easy to use. The maps include information on the road system, campsites, swimming pools and museums. The book also contains an exhaustive table of road distances between different places in the country. The Road Atlas was nominated as first prize winner in International GIS congress 2000.
