TravelNet Shipping Policy

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. The cost of shipping depends on package weight, shipping method and destination.

We offer 3 choices of shipping your Icelandic products:

1. FedEx International Priority Service: This option is for those who want their products delivered fast. This is also the only option for perishable products that need cooling during shipping, for example Skyr and Smoked Lamb. Shipping time is usually 24-48 hours after delivery to the courier. We ship perishable products on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays to ensure delivery before the following weekend.
2. Regular Airmail – Post A: This is the most popular shipping method. It combines relatively fast shipping with reasonable pricing. Shipping time to the US is 6-12 business days, to Europe 3-6 business days and to the rest of the world 5-15 business days.
3. Economy Mail – Post B: This is the slowest shipping method. It is best for heavy shipments that do not need to be shipped fast. Shipping time to the US is 6 business days up to 8 weeks, to Europe 6 business days up to 4 weeks and up to 8 weeks to the rest of the world.

You may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.

Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, when ordering from Travelnet, you are considered to be the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.

Your privacy is important to us, and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international customers and customers shipping products internationally to be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.

If your country does not appear in our order form, then we cannot accept credit card orders from that country. You will need to send us the payment in advance.

We reserve the right to change the requested method of shipping if a more suitable method is available.

FedEx International Priority Service, Airmail - Post A and Economy Mail - Post B have no service guarantee and sometimes may take longer to deliver than expected.

FedEx may charge you an extra fee if you provide the incorrect shipping address.

Your packages may be subject to the customs fees and import duties of the country to which you have your order shipped.

In all cases, Travelnet will not be responsible for any shipping and handling charges to and from Travelnet, or paying or refunding customs fees, taxes or VAT that may be due.
