The book is well illustrated, very instructive and indispensible partner on a whale watching trip. In addition to a great number of colour photographs the book contains illustrations by Martin Camm of all the whales and the book contains information on all Whale Watching companies in Iceland. The author, Asbjorn Bjorgvinsson dirctor of the Whale Information Center in Husavik, is well known for his interest on the travel industry and conservation of nature. He has received a number of awards for his work on whale watching, i.e. the medal of the Golden Ark from prince Bernhard in Holland and the Global 500 price from UNEP. Helmut Lugmayr has work many years as a guide in Iceland and Greenland and knows by experience what questions tourists and nature conservatists need to get answers to. The is a hardcover book with many colour pictures and illustrations.
