Bjúgnakrækir or Sausage Thief (20th Dec.) is the ninth Yule Lad to make his way down from the mountains. Once he spots a house, he heads straight to the kitchen. In the old days, he had to climb up to the rafters to get at the tasty sausages hung there to smoke over the fire.
